David J. Hegarty
President and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Hegarty has been our President and Chief Operating Officer since the company was founded in 1999. Mr. Hegarty oversees all of SNH’s property acquisition and disposition activities. Mr. Hegarty has held numerous positions with affiliates of SNH since 1987. Mr. Hegarty is a certified public accountant and, prior to 1987, Mr. Hegarty was employed by Ernst & Young LLP.

Richard A. Doyle, Jr.
Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Doyle has been our Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer since March 2007 and oversees all of SNH’s Accounting and Financial Reporting Activities. Mr. Doyle has held positions with an affiliate of SNH since 2005. Mr. Doyle’s previous experience also includes numerous finance and audit positions with Sun Life Financial, Inc. Mr. Doyle is a certified public accountant and has an MBA.

William J Sheehan
Director of Internal Audit and Compliance
Mr. Sheehan has been our Director of Internal Audit and Compliance since 2003. Mr. Sheehan oversees all internal audit and regulatory compliance issues for SNH. Between 1995 and 2003, Mr. Sheehan was employed by Ian Schrager Hotels as Executive Vice President of Finance and, previously, as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Sheehan’s prior experience includes serving as Chief Financial Officer and Vice Chairman of Omni Hotels, as well as being a Partner at Arthur Andersen LLP. Mr. Sheehan is a certified public accountant.

Jennifer B. Clark
Secretary
Ms. Clark has been our Secretary since 2008. Ms. Clark supervises legal affairs affecting SNH. Previously she was Senior Vice President from 1999 to 2008. Prior to 1999, Ms. Clark was a Partner at the law firm of Sullivan & Worcester LLP.
