Our business strategy
is to maintain a geographically diverse real estate investment portfolio. At present we are focused
on acquiring upscale senior living properties where the majority
of the revenues come from the residents’ private resources
rather than from government programs as well as other healthcare related
properties including medical office buildings. We acquire properties primarily for
income and secondarily for appreciation potential. The majority of our properties
are triple net leased, meaning that each tenant pays us rent, but remains
responsible to pay all operating costs, taxes, insurance and maintenance
costs that arise from the ownership and use of the property.
